| I painted the bomber girl paintings in the style of Gil Elvgren, famous American Pin-up painter of the 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. They are all 18x24” oil on panel paintings, and all models are women I know (except the “After Elvgren…” paintings (copies of Gil Elvgren’s Pin-ups) and the Jean Harlow painting). Patti is a good friend from back in the medical school days. |
